For the second year we are going to leave the Mission for our December event and join the BABS toy drive.

I hope to see you there,

What: Toy Drive with Bay Area Beer Socials

When: Tuesday, November 23,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Rogue Ales Public House
673 Union St
San Francisco , CA 94101

Now in its sixth year, the Bay Area Beer Socials Holiday Toy Drive, aiding disadvantaged children from San Francisco, is a special event held to help those less fortunate. Rogue Ales Public House is our returning sponsor this year and will host evening of giving, fun and celebration.

2010 marks the 61th Anniversary of the San Francisco Firefighter?s Toy Program, the city?s largest and the nation?s oldest program of its kind. Since 1949, the charity has evolved from a few firefighters repairing broken toys and bikes to over 300 firefighters and friends volunteering their time to distribute over 200,000 toys to more than 40,000 disadvantaged children throughout San Francisco.

Rogue is offering a great incentive when you arrive with an unwrapped toy:

Bring an unwrapped toy for a boy or girl (16 and under) and receive a FREE PINT from a choice of over 40+ beers or ales on tap. Rogue will also serve a selection of appetizers and other hot and cold goodies.

The Fire Department will be on hand with their Holiday Fire Truck, barrels and bags to collect the toys and firefighters, paramedics and other personnel to greet people during the party.

This is a great way to bring in the holiday spirit by giving to those less fortunate.
