FFFridgeatl is a grassroots organization established in April of 2020 and in operation since October 2020. Our mission is based on a mutual aid approach of redistribution of wealth and resources through the community, by the community. We are set up as a free general store-collecting donations of clothing, hygiene and cleaning products, fresh and dry foods and beverages, prepared meals, first aid supplies and other items requested by our patrons (pots and pans, can openers, sleeping bags, etc.). Our goal is to provide resources for our neighbors in a format that reinforces solidarity and dignity for all members of the community, free of charge and with no requirements to receive. Our method reduces waste and provides valuable connections between individuals.
