PhoneGap is changing the way applications are being written and distributed in the mobile marketplace.

Using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and mobile-specific JavaScript libraries users can write apps and package them for distribution through all of the major app stores. These apps can run with no Internet connection and with every passing month seem to be getting closer and closer to the native app experiences.

But what is the real cost in terms of performance and native app user experience? Is there an emerging mobile experience that is native to PhoneGap and goes beyond vendor ambitions?

Join us at the inaugural PhoneGap Toronto meetup to explore this and more. The goal is to make the meetup of value to anyone with a stake in the future of mobile development - developers, designers, managers, and business owners.

Location: This meetup will be at "The Office Pub" on the 2nd floor which has TVs spread around to watch presentations. You can also order food and drinks like a regular pub during the presentations.
