Join us for this moderately changeling hike near White Rock N.M.
Length: 4.7 miles ... Elevation gain: 460 ft ... Route type: loop ... Pace: Relaxed ... Dogs: Yes
The route can be divided into five main sections - The descent down to the Water canyon. - A fairly level walk down Water canyon - A genial climb up to Ruin Mesa - A leasery walk through Prety canyon - Then back to the cars.
The Santa Fe People will meet in the South East parking lot of the Tesuque casino. At 8:00 AM. We will meet the Los Alamos people at the Bandelier way station in White Rock about 8:45 AM.
Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and lunch or snacks. Also, bring "spikes" in case there is ice on the trail.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
