Tech Talk: Mobile Automation by Jeremiah Jacquet

Jeremiah Jacquet is the director of automation at Lolay and will be digging deep into continuous integration, compiling artifacts, api calls, notification process, downstreaming, test reports, and more..

Please be aware this will be a very technical talk, preceded and followed of course by mingling. Beverages and snacks will be provided by Q, our wonderful sponsor.

There's parking across the street from the building for something like $3 flat rate.

I don't do much testing so it was not as relevant to me as most of the meetups. But I met a lot of people, and liked the wraps as a healthy alternative to pizza (though lets face it, not as tasty as pizza).

Thanks Jeremiah... you mentioned I should tell you if I came up with a way to get the native iPhone on a Mac screen. Well you can do this using VNC over WiFi. Run the VNC client (eg realvnc.com) on the Mac and the VNC server on the (jailbroken) iPhone. Turns out I connect this way all the time. Didn't occur to me till now. Using this approach you're not tied to the iPhone simulator, or the Mac to run functional testing.... Thanks again... Maurice from orbsoft.com

Please feel free park at the Howard Hughes Mall parking lot across the street from 6080 Center dr. (the office building lots are very expensive)!
