It's the best time of the year -- school is back in session! Celebrate this beautiful time of year with a trip down the Wading River. It is a 10 am start.

This is a great trip on the Wading River from Hawkins Bridge to Beaver Branch! We will meet at Godfrey's to gather and check in.

It is a great trip for beginners, intermediate and advanced paddlers. It is approximately a 4 hour run, and we will be stopping along the way to eat and experience the Pine Barrens. We will be meeting at Godfrey's Bridge at 10 am, TRAVEL TO HAWKINS BRIDGE, launch, and should arrive at Beaver Branch landing by 3:00 pm at the latest.

Anyone interested in a shorter trip is welcome to leave their vehicle at Godfrey's Bridge and get out there. That is approximately 1.5 hours. When signing in, please let the leader know.

When meeting in the morning, drive over the one lane wooden bridge and we will be on the right on the beach.

-pfd (life jacket) -- this is mandatory!
-change of clothes
-hand sanitizer or wipes
-face mask (for when not on the water)
-personal pen for signing in
-a flexible approach to the new normal!

This is a joint trip with Outdoor Club of South Jersey and Mohawk Canoe Club.

There are specific rules for attending, including updated rules for shuttling. Please be sure to read these here:
Your attendance on the trip indicates you have reviewed and agreed to these rules.

OCSJ Guidelines include:

1. Paid members are given priority. Guests can come for their first trip, but may be bumped to the waiting list. You will receive an email if that is the case.

2. Everyone must wear a mask WHEN NOT ON THE WATER and appropriately social distance. Please bring a mask, hand sanitizer or wipes and a personal pen to sign in with.

3. Shuttle will be organized among participants, but it is important to note that is not part of the club activity. Getting into a vehicle with other people is a personal choice, and masks are strongly encouraged!

4. If you have RSVP’d to attend and cannot, please be courteous and cancel so others can attend. Do this at least 24 hours before activity start time.
