Join us for this FUN & INSPIRING evening of Chanting the names of the Divine. Kirtan will be led by Raghavendra on Harmonium & Brian on Drums

A Mantra generates the creative force and bestows eternal Bliss. A Mantra when constantly repeated awakens the consciousness. ~ Swami Sivananda

Kirtan is the spiritual practice within one of the four branches of Yoga known as Bhakti Yoga, or the Yoga of Devotion or Self-Surrendered, in it the aspirant repeats in a melodic form a specific mantra or sacred word.

The constant repetition and the vibration of the Mantra, creates a sharp focus of attention within the mind that helps arrest/controls the activities of the mind, known as thought process, leaving one in a state of no thoughts, also known as the present moment.

It is in such moment of silence-within, that one can ONLY experience our true formless form, our divinity within, allowing us to recognize our never-changing state of pure peace and happiness. What the Yogis of India have called a state of Sat-Chit-Ananda (Existence-Consciousness-Bliss)
We invite you to come and experience this precious practice. It is our hope that this practice brings you a bit closer to your real self. All we ask is that you come with no expectations and with a receiving mind. Grace will be there. ~ Raghavendra
