What is important to you as a Monte Mucho Audubon member?

To raise the awareness of bird watching and conservation here in Laredo. Introduce new members to basic concepts methods on how to identify birds and their behaviors.

I started birding while living Australia. My return back to the USA and a job transfer brought me to Laredo, Texas. My very first Life bird here was the Great Kiskadee and my interest in all things associated with birding has continued every since.

What Raul D. is saying about this Meetup Group

For the first ever, White-collared Seedeaters were seen on this ranch. We knew it was only a matter of time. Distance of the "circle 8 walking trail" was about 1.8 mile long. We expect more rare birds been found here in the future.
