Welcome!

Have you discovered the powerful effects of getting centered early in the day? Join us for Meditations guided with breath, gentle chair Yoga, silence & stillness. Each day we end with a reading from an ancient or contemporary Wisdom Tradition. 7:55 - 8:15 a.m. Monday-Friday.

This group started in March, 2020 with "Peace in a Pandemic": Weekday morning meditations /Meditations Matinales pour commencer votre journée.

Meditation is a powerful tool that many of us would like to explore and yet not sure quite how. These meditations offer short teachings & insight into creating safe, loving & compassionate approaches to learning to sit with ourselves. That said, if you have experienced trauma that is keeping you from being able to develop a meditation practice, you may (as well as/instead of meditation) want to consult a therapist to help you process your experiences while developing your practice.

I am a Viniyoga student & teacher, Vipassana Meditation student & teacher, & a Certified Wellness Coach. I am also available to help you process some of your experiences, and, I adhere to a code of ethics that requires I refer - as necessary - to therapists more specifically trained in trauma. I have also done some research in how Yoga and breath work can help heal trauma, but this is not my area of expertise.

The Meditations are held in english. I do coach and can teach yoga in french as well.🙏🏽

You are also welcome to join a virtual yoga class. 1st one is free. Message me for more information.

Although I teach a very gentle, supportive & preventative yoga for boody & mind, if you join us, please be aware of your responsibility:

I fully understand that meditation and/or yoga can lead to physical or mental discomfort. I will meet myself where I am and practice at my own level with awareness of the feedback i'm getting from my body and mind (thoughts). By becoming member, I acknowledge and accept all the possible risks of injury, loss, or damage arising directly or as a consequence from a Yoga class.

I hereby release the Montreal /Lower Laurentians Community Yoga Meditations Meetup Group and the activity organizer from all responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to myself and release the said Group and organizers from any and all claims including any claims which may be made in my name by my heirs, successors, administrators, and executors of my will.
