Black Forest Regional Park- MMB Thursday Evening Ride!
Details
Black Forest evenings always bring that quiet‑trail magic — cool air, soft light through the pines, and miles of mellow singletrack waiting to wake up your legs. This one sits comfortably in the beginner to intermediate zone, depending on fitness, with a couple of long, moderate climbs that sneak up on you in that “yep, I should’ve stretched” kind of way.
We’ll roll an 8–9 mile loop in about 1.5 hours, weaving through tall pines and smooth XC terrain. It’s classic Black Forest:
- Zero tech, just clean dirt and rhythm
- Moderate elevation gain that keeps the heart rate honest
- A bit of climbing, but nothing spicy — just enough to warm up the early‑season legs
- Shaded, flowy forest corridors that make you forget you’re this close to town
If the group’s feeling good, extra loops are always on the table — the park is basically a choose‑your‑own‑adventure of twisty, peaceful singletrack.
And because this is Black Forest, where post‑ride hangs are half the fun, bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy under the trees after we wrap up.
See you out there for some pine‑scented miles.
....or, we can always go for pizza somewhere as well.
