Pitch your startup!

Pitch practice is on again! Nine upcoming new startups of Perth, will practice their three-minute pitch in front of the non-intimidating and supportive Morning Startup audience.

The startups are:

The plan
Each startup will get exactly three minutes to pitch (they'll be clapped out at the three minute mark), followed by a couple of minutes of questions and feedback from the audience.

Only three minutes? WTF?!
Yeah, that's right. You'll need a clear, succinct pitch that gets people excited about your startup and wanting to know more. Less is more and it's totally doable!

This also allows more time for insightful questions and feedback (the useful stuff!), and gives more startups the opportunity to have a go!

Pitching tips
As a general guide, a pitch should cover:
- Who is your customer?
- What is their massive problem?
- Why are existing solutions to the problem painful or inadequate?
- What is your solution to the problem and why is it better / unique?
- Why you, why now?
- How big can this get? (Market / business model)
- Your ask

If you do the math, you have 25 seconds to cover each point. So get to the point quickly and clearly :)
