If you're not new to igo/weichi/baduk what's your approximate strength?

I am new to Go, but have watched some games online and played one or two against the computer.

Besides igo/weiqi/baduk, what's one other thing that you're passionate about?

I used to study complex systems (and still follow studies on them), currently work as a quant, and like puzzles, games such as contract bridge, and some other strategy games. I cook for entertainment from time to time.

Introduction

I have only looked at a little bit of mathematical end-game analysis of go, but I would like to learn to play the game. I work and live near Soho and Greenwich Village.
