Wicked Ride of the East

The One, the Only, the Wicked.  North Shore NEMBA has made this event into one of New England "must-do" mountaing biking events, and it's a great final gathering of mountain bikers before the snow begins to fly. This year will showcase some of the best trails the forest has to offer, not-so-coincidentally built by North Shore NEMBA's trail building gurus. Get ready to lock 'n load!

Costumed riders get free chili! (Well, it's free anyway but will taste better in costume!)!  Ya' never know, we might have some great prize if you show your halloween spirit ..... or not.   Trick or Treat?

There will be arrowed courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced cross-country riders, as well as led rides of all levels.

Directions: Set GPS for 133 Jenkins ave, then follow NEMBA signs to campground parking lot.

Registration: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Fee: $10.00 NEMBA Members and $25.00 for non-members. Free if you join NEMBA at the Event. Kids 15 and under ride free with a registered adult. Bring your NEMBA membership card. If you can't find it, we will have a membership database onsite.

I am going to this with my 10 yr old daughter. We are planning on cruising along one of the beginner trials. Roberta, or anyone, if you want to take an easy ride with us let me know.

I don't know the trails but for this event the loops should be marked. Last year we just followed the loop.

This was a great event last year, although a little rainy. They're also doing the drawing for the land access raffle at the event.

I'd love to go -however that conflicts with {held on same day as} the Circumburke Challenge - a 26 mile up part of Burke Mtn. around the back side into Victory VT state forest and onto the Kingdom Trails --yea this one has to take priority for me. Cool events always seem to be on same date as each other.
