See a sci-fi thriller, "The Purge" Friday at 6:50PM for $2.00 admission -- that's right, TWO BUCKS! Tropicana Cinemas (http://living-las-vegas.com/wp-content/uploads/cinemas.jpg) is located in the lot behind the Rebel station on the northwest corner of Tropicana and Pecos with plenty of well-lighted parking. I'll be there at 6:30PM -- please try to arrive then so we can all be seated together -- find the purged man with the grey beard inside the building, near the theatre (numbers one through six) where the movie is showing. Note that food and drink brought from outside is not allowed in the building. Optional meeting to socialise afterward at Putter's (http://www.puttersvegas.com/locations/putters-tropicana/), thirty yards away.
An intruder (Edwin Hodge) breaks into the gated-community home of James Sandin (Ethan Hawke) during the annual 12-hour period (Purge) in which all criminal activity becomes legal. The police can't be called, and hospitals suspend help. It is up to James, his wife Mary (Lena Headey), and their children Charlie and Zoey (Max Burkholder and Adelaide Kane) to make it through the night without turning into the monsters from whom they hide.
