Though located relatively close to major European gay meccas, and home to a growing LGBT culture, Poland remains virulently and sometimes violently homophobic ? as recounted by young activists as they attempt to stage a gay pride march.
In Beirut, where homosexuality is forbidden, a small apartment serves as a sanctuary for four LGBT Lebanese of different faiths and cultural backgrounds to speak freely about their lives in a land divided by war, family, religion, and other countries' conflicts.
