Halloween Pirate Drag King and Queen Party!!!

Tired of the Same Old Song and Dance? The Same Old Costume Parties, with all the Cliche, labor intensive and/or expensive costumes. And for Guild members, who really wants to wear their everyday Pirate Threads on All Hallow's Eve? The AP&WG will be hosting a "Switched Party" for Halloween! This Means that you Salty Dogs will dress as Wenches and in turn the lovely Saucy Wenches will dress as their Male counterparts! In essence, Pirate Drag! Now we don't expect you to "pass" for the opposite gender, in fact have fun with it. Men should feel free to keep their facial and chest hair, wear bad wigs and padded bosoms! Ladies who sport petite figures may dress as Cabin boys or even as "Napolean-esque" Pirates. Women may wear fake beards, goatees, mustaches and chest hair and dress as dandy captains! Be Creative! This event is meant to be silly, It's Halloween! The James Joyce has welcomed us back ...(had to tip the barkeep )
so mark your calenders, set yer sails and meander into the unknown in a familiar location!

YAR!

This meet-up was a Blast! I am so glad that my fellow Pirates and Wenches seemed to enjoy this event and requested that we do it again next year. The positive feedback far exceeded my expectations! The James Joyce Irish Pub is always a wonderful venue with a polite, tolerant and competent servers. The food and potent potables were excellent as well. What handsome Pirates my lovely wenches did make, a grand tribute to the likes of Mary Read and Grace O'Malley. Sometimes a Pirate Wench must go Undercover to live a life at Sea. And let's not forget the salty dogs of the AP&WG, what fine wenches they did make! many of the landLubbers at the James Joyce were quite taken with the saucy wenches of the AP&WG. Especially that redheaded charmer that appeared to be almost a doppleganger for his saucy wench The Vampirate!

Thanks everyone for being a great sport! We'll do it again!

This creative group went overboard with the costumes which was wonderful. Who knew that our men could be so fetchin' and our women could be so dashin'!
