The Patient Activity Specialist at Scottish Rite has summoned a dozen or so "Scurvy Dogs" to brighten the day of some hospitalized children as we teach them to pillage and plunder in a most hearty way. Ye must be in full garb! Crafts, games, and pirate booty will be provided as we interact with children between the ages of 5 and 13. If ye want to bring any treat or treat type items, they can't be candy but individually wrapped fruit snacks and goldfish cracker type snacks. Please post in the comment section anything that ye have that ye want to bring for the children. All Pirates attending must be 18 or older and free from any cold or flu like symptoms. Afterwards, we will be setting sail to the Royal Oak Pub in Dunwoody for a bite to eat and some adult beverages. If ye don't make the cut for the hospital event, garb up and join us at the pub!

  • All the world's a stage. . . at Shakespeare Tavern
We will be invading Shakespeare Tavern to watch "As You Like It" The management at Shakeapeare Tavern has requested that we leave weaponry at home. The management has also graciously given us a promo code to get $5 off. Use promo code, or call and mention **APWPirate**. I would like to encourage everyone to purchase tickets in the balcony, so that we can all sit together. The doors open at 5:45pm. For anyone interested in sitting at a table together, I can meet you the lobby anytime after the doors open. Seating is first-come, first-served; so I recommend arriving early. Here is a direct link to that night's ticket purchase page: http://prospero.shakespearetavern.com/Tickets/?perf=AYL180609P I look forward to seeing you at the theater.
