Ahoy!

We're currently trying to work out the scheduling issue with the Buccaneer's Ball, so hopefully they won't conflict next year.

We also got inspired this year to expand and build on Pirates of the Chattahoochee, and bring back/add to some of the more adult oriented activities.

We'll still have plenty of kid and family activities, but we want to make it more fun for our Pirates too!

Actually, a couple of us will be at St. Augustine next weekend to scope out what they do, so watch for us - see you there!

We're still working on our event. We know that most of the time with things such as this, there is no way that everyone will be able to attend. Although most people are dead-set on us having the ball on October 23, there is room for negotiation.

At this current time, we are trying to sort through things, smooth over some issues with the venue for this past ball, and hopefully move past it all to start planning for '10.

If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to send those to myself or Lady Raven.

Thanks for the overwhelming response! I never thought it would get this big.

Well here is an idea to throw out on the Table, Pirates of the Chattahoochee has a great day time event, and the Cutthroat Titans have a wonderful adult themed Buccaneers Ball in the evening, why don't the two merge into a big weekend event.

Port of Columbus could be the Venue which would add a wonderful back drop, we have a mobile kitchen that could be brought up to be used, and the museum has plenty of room for a Pirate encampment. Just an idea for you to think about.
