Cinema History Spielberg: Through the Eyes of a Child
I'm posting this for the film buffs in our group - not even sure if I can attend myself! If people respond I can suggest meeting places nearby for discussion afterwards and perhaps join you for a drink. This will be held at the Bernards Township Library -Program Room B. Please note that the library is requesting registration directly with them, even if you RSVP here. From the Bernards Township Library website: No director has had more blockbuster hits than Steven Spielberg. He is adept in many styles and genres including action, adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, war, comedy, and drama. Yet, in the vast majority, there is a connecting theme - we see the stories 'through eyes of a child'. Come take a second look at some of his most compelling work in 'Close Encounters', 'E.T.', 'Empire of the Sun', and 'Jurassic Park'. Presenter: Chris Messineo, movie director and producer and head of the NJ Film School. Registration requested:

What we're about

What's better than seeing a movie, then discussing it over food and drink? In Morristown it's easy enough to do both! Enjoy a great movie, discover a new place with delicious food, and have stimulating conversation with friendly interesting people. We won't just stay in Morristown. If the movies we want to see don't come to us, we'll go to them! You'll find us in Morristown and surrounding areas, Madison, Bernardsville, Cedar Knolls, Florham Park, etc. but we'll go to specialty theatres in Chatham and Montclair as well. We'll enjoy a broad, eclectic range of movies and a variety of food. Sure beats going to the movies by yourself!

Our Meetups will take place at different times of day - sometimes involving dinner, sometimes lunch or afternoon tea. Ideally, all within walking distance of the theatre. All movie fans are welcome. Hope you can join us!
