Haskell is pointing to my photograph of National guard troops on Jackson street RR overpass by Michigan Avenue. Conrad Hilton can be seen in center of background. Maybe Thursday, August 29, 1968 ? Tear gas floating in background and NG had gas masks on. This scene went on for hours and probably other days too and was recorded by many cameramen. "Medium Cool" has Haskell there when a gas cannister exploded at his feet and the line: "Look out Haskell, it's for real" was post-dubbed in. How "cool" is that!! I have a Democratic Convention page on my website: chicagosee.com
