Here's an animation/jazz program being offered for free at the Crocker

Two programs: 12 noon and 2 pm. Using clips from classics like "Betty Boop" to contemporary features like "The Princess and the Frog," animation expert Jerry Beck and jazz authority Joe Gilman will take a melodic journey through cinematic history. Presented in conjunction with the annual Jazz Festival and Jubilee. The Museum will be open from 10 AM - 5 PM. Thanks to the generous support of Target, Museum admission is free

Historically fascinating, even if some of the oldest cartoons included a few distasteful ethnic caricatures. The Al Hirschfeld-esque animation for Rhapsody in Blue from Fantasia 2000 was delightful. The renovated museum itself is lovely and fascinating.

Lovely afternoon with an enjoyable and informative presentation on both the animation history and jazz accompaniment.

Outside of the auditorium it is. In the hallway just outside of the auditorium entrance at 11:45.

Also, a place? How about outside the auditorium entrance?

Yes, that is a good suggestion to meet up at 11:45. Sorry, I am new at this.
