Paddle 10 miles on Little Miami

We will paddle 10 miles from Kelley Nature Preserve to the take out area located at Bass Island Park. We will meet at the 9:00 AM at Kelley Nature Preserve and Please arrive a few minutes early and try to have boats unloaded and ready to be shuttle by 9:00 AM. • Start

We should be out of the water around 4:00 PM

• Duration
Expect to spend about up to 4 to 6 hours on the water depending on group pace and lunch.

• Pace
We will take a leisurely paddle giving plenty of time for camera opportunities

• Distance
This paddle is 10 miles on moving water. American Whitewater has parts of this trip as having class 1 rapids. Click the link below for details

• Difficulty
This paddle is suitable for paddlers with some moving water experience. You must be 12 years of age or older and sign the liability waiver. Its not a hard paddle, however there are obstacles to maneuver. There are easy class 1 rapids and plenty of other fun spots in the river. • Food
Bring your lunch, water and snacks. We will have a half hour lunch halfway through the trip on a sandbar.

• What to Bring
Kayak or Canoe / PFD / hat / water / sunscreen / bug spray / dry clothes / dry shoes / dry bag / safety equipment/your lunch/snacks and your smile. (If you are wearing a spray skirt please use a helmet.)

PLEASE NOTE: I am not your guide. I am a friend to paddle with that has provided you with group companionship and shuttling opportunity. Don' t be late, and don't ask questions that you can research on your own.

      Hey kel kel. Use Kimpy's boat and she can ride up front. Its an open cockpit design with plenty of room for her.
