We will be heading 2 hrs south of Cincinnati to The Red River Gorge is a canyon system on the Red River in east-central Kentucky. Geologically, it is part of the Pottsville Escarpment.The 13,379-acre Clifty Wilderness Area lies in this intricate canyon system features an abundance of high sandstone cliffs, rock shelters, waterfalls, and natural bridges. There are more than 100 natural sandstone arches in the Red River Gorge Geological Area.

We will be Camping at Natural Bridge Campgrounds!
Each site will have 110v electric, picnic table, fire ring and 1 pop up and 5 tents. Site #'s TBA. There is a bathhouse with flush toilets and shower house for hot showers. Also features a catch and release fishing pond, free wireless internet access, Firewood, ice and snacks are available at the shelter. We are pet friendly! Campsites will be #20,19&10. It is group camping.

Thursday evening paddle at 41-acre Mill Creek Lake Just a few miles from Camp. Paddling only as motors are not allowed. Fishing is allowed with a valid fishing license.Canoes and kayaks are available for rent thru Red River Adventure.

Friday paddle Red River!! the 8-mile trip that meanders through Red River Gorge. Towering cliffs, outrageous rock formations, and deep forests. Boats can be rented thru Red River Adventure! For more information or reservations call (606)[masked] or 5258.

Saturday Paddle Thrillsville Caves!! The Gorge Underground is unlike any other adventure you have ever been on! Join us as our guides lead you into the darkness of the Gorge Grotto, through the mountainside for a full hour long adventure under the earth's surface. Paddle your way through the grotto in your own boat. A guide will lead the way and explain the history of the cavern and how it came to be flooded.
WHAT'S PROVIDED: include all gear needed (boat, paddle, life jacket, helmet, headlamp). You may bring your own.WHAT TO BRING:We suggest you bring a sweater or jacket as the temperature does drop to about 55 degrees once you are inside. Waterproof camera must have flash or your pictures will not turn out.
REQUIREMENTS & RESTRICTIONS:Participants must be at least 40lbs and no more than 300lbs. Each participant is required to wear a helmet and personal flotation device (provided). Participants must be able to safely get in and out of kayak.No special skills are required.

***** If your not kayaking the caves. We can hike or Kayak Red River again!

Sunday for Hiking! Natural Bridge, Sky Bridge, Greys Arch, Nada Tunnel Rock House Bridge!! All so Beautiful!!

Meals will be Potluck group meals!! Suggestion for Thursday dinner after paddle dinner at MIGUELS PIZZA! A RED RIVER GORGE TRADITION SINCE 1984. Its on the way back to camgrounds from Mill Creek lake!

• What to bring: Camping stuff, Kayaking Stuff, Chairs, Bikes, Cooking stuff, Lights, Hiking stuff, refreshments! Musical stuff! Camera!!!

COST! $ 60 tent $70 camper or pop up. Cost is determined by the number of persons. Cost DOES include the caves!!
Cost Camping ONLY $25 tent $40 camper or pop up. No Caves!

SAFETY SIGN IN: Everyone will sign in before
launching: your name, Emergency contact person and phone number. I realized if someone required 911, I do not know last names or who to call. This list is kept in my dry bag during the paddle, then shredded when I get home. Hopefully we will never have to use it.
