How do you rate your experience with paddling? {Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert}

Intermediate to advanced in river running. That does NOT exempt me from having a very bad day in whitewater. So much yet to learn. I teach flat water kayaking, moving water kayaking, and I teach the kayak roll. Respectable eddy turns, peel outs, bow draws, and ferrys; My bracing skills need a lot of work. Class III rapids are OK. Class IV, gets perty scary. working up to class IV next summer on the New River Gorge.

How far are you willing to drive to an event?

All the way there.
