Tome of Righteous Repose GM: Kyle Players: Bryce(6-7), Steven(?), Willie(6 Kineticist), Willie +1(5 Barbarian), John(7 Paladin) Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7. When the necromancer-king Tar-Baphon rose as a lich and threatened to conquer all of Avistan, Taldor rallied its neighbors and led the Shining Crusade, a glorious campaign that defeated the Whispering Tyrant’s armies and sealed him away. For the better part of a millennium, Lastwall has guarded Tar-Baphon’s prison and fended off the orc tribes to the north, rarely sparing a second thought to the rich archaeological secrets that lie just below the soil. A local venture-captain has found a lost chapter to the Tome of Righteous Repose, which chronicles the demise of countless heroes of the Shining Crusade. At long last, this has earned the Society Lastwall’s blessing to uncover these lost sites, lay to rest the fallen crusaders, and repatriate the family heirlooms they carried to battle. "From the Tome of Righteous Repose" is an evergreen, replayable scenario designed to provide a flexible adventure that confronts the PCs with a variety of threats more common to higher-level characters—all while uncovering the history of one of Avistan’s greatest conflicts. Depending on which lead the PCs take, they might explore the proud crusader nation of Lastwall, travel into the gloom-shrouded mountains of Ustalav, or risk an expedition into the orc-ruled wastes of Belkzen in pursuit of lost history. This scenario is designed for play in Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild but can easily be adapted for use with any world. This scenario is compliant with the Open Game License (OGL) and is suitable for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Table spends $10 - get a reward. If the table combines for $50 - everyone gets an enhanced reward! See details here: http://paizo.com/organizedplay/policies About this Game Day: This is an announcement for a regularly-scheduled game day on the Second and Fourth Thursday of every month at the Legion Games in Burnsville, Minnesota. Timing: Games start at 6:00pm and generally last between four and five hours. The GMs arrive around 5:45 PM for set-up and questions. Cost: Pathfinder Society is free! I encourage you to buy your GM a drink from time to time, to show them how much you appreciate their hard work! Registration: Registration for events is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play. Drop-in players are welcome to show up at the event, and will be placed in open seats as space allows. GMs: I only schedule a table after having a GM volunteer to run it. I especially look to the regulars to help out once in a while. If you have interest in GMing, send me a message! Starfinder: I do not personally play Starfinder and therefore will not be able to GM it. However, if GMs are interested in running at Dreamer's Vault Burnsville, I would be happy to schedule tables. All are Welcome! We cater to Pathfinders of all ages and experience levels. We aim to schedule low tier and high tier tables for each game night to accommodate as many players as possible. New to Pathfinder and/or Pathfinder Society? If you're interested in trying Pathfinder, we encourage you to do so! New players are always welcome, and we will provide you with everything you need to participate at the event. Feel free to message the organizers if you have specific questions.

What we're about

Public Group

This group is dedicated to the Pathfinder RPG system, specifically the Pathfinder Society campaign supported by Paizo Publishing. The purpose is to coordinate, schedule and communicate events for Pathfinder Society in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area. Gamers who live in or travel to Central Minnesota (the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area) are welcome to join this group.

More specifically, our purpose is to:

Promote local interest in scheduled Pathfinder Society events and Pathfinder home-games.
Build a community for local players of the Pathfinder Role Playing Game.
Discuss rules, products, character concepts, Organized Play comments/concerns, and all things Pathfinder.
To provide a central go-to location for new players.

Pathfinder Society is a style of “organized play” in which characters can be played at events across the globe. Characters are developed normally and can progress from level 1-12 over a course of roughly 33 adventures that average 4-5 hours in playtime. Each “season” of play contains a minimum of 28 adventures that span the entirety of Golarion. Join thousands of fellow Pathfinders to “explore, report, and cooperate” and get to know your local players.

What if I don't have a character?

Pre-Generated characters will be provided representing most of the standard Pathfinder classes (Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, Wizard) as well as a few esoteric ones.
