Game Day at The Source (Sunday - Aug 11th, 2013)

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-13: The Quest for Perfection—Part III: Defenders of Nesting Swallow.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 1–5.

As the Pathfinders approach the village of Nesting Swallow in the Tian nation of Shokuro, they find it besieged by a gang of tengu bandits. Before their contact in the village will aid them in restoring the Iroran relic that brought them hundreds of miles to the isolated town, the PCs must repulse the attackers, using every ounce of tactical mettle and military strategy they possess to train the villagers, augment their defenses, and ultimately face off against the bandits' charge.

Written by Sean McGowan, RPG Superstar 2011 runner up

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–25: The Secrets Stones Keep. Glories of the Past, Part 3.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–9.

Deep beneath the orc city of Urgir in the Hold of Belkzen lie the ruins of the ancient dwarven Sky Citadel of Koldukar, where awaits what could be the greatest discovery of the Age of Lost Omens: confirmation of the location of one of the lost Sky Citadels, built by the dwarves in their earliest days on the surface of Golarion. But reaching their destination won't be easy for the Pathfinders, and only the most skilled will survive Urgir and the terrors guarding the dwarves' long-abandoned secrets. Can they uncover the location of the lost Sky Citadel, or will the Pathfinders suffer the same fate as Koldukar—defeat at the hands of ruthless orcs and centuries of decay under the earth?

Please ANY help is needed!!

Any volunteer GM's for this week?? Remember the more GM's we get the more tables we can assign. New GM's are ALWAYS welcome too. You could see behind the scenes then and go so far as to have some cool players to have some fun as well. :)

Thanks!!

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day Sunday at The Source in Roseville, Minnesota. We try to schedule one to two low-tier tables and one higher-tier table is starting up for the regulars. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 6:00) and the GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young to old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game.

We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game along with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 13 please have parent or guardian supervision during the games). We look forward to seeing you

I really enjoyed the entire event. All were very kind and helpful. Despite being a new player I felt part of the team.

Awesome. We nearly suffered a TPK at the final boss, but that's what makes it exciting. Combat Maneuvers with a scorpion-whip was too much fun. :)

  • AndrewU

Very challenging scenario for 5 level 1 pcs. The Axebeak BBQ party must have been fun.

    • Jack B.

Could have been a lot worse. Thank you for a fun afternoon, Jon. Next time we'll get 'me. And we'll spread out before combat starts. And make sure everyone is fully healed before. And maybe get the dwarf and gnome potions of expeditious retreat before we enter a sky citadel.

I will go with one of the pregenerated characters. That sounds like it will be a way better way to start out. Is there a place I can see these character?

    August 9, 2013

    • Jon L.

Yea I usually have them too :) Thanks Mike for popping in before me and suggesting it. I really appreciate that. Thanks! :)

    August 9, 2013

  • John I.

Thank you for the wonderful help. Would I set up a new character at your place before the game fun begins?

    August 9, 2013

    • john

you have two options for a new character, you can read the society guide(free download from paizo.com) it details how to build a character. The gist of it is a 20 point buy and 150 starting gold with some restrictions on different feats and such. OR you can play a pregenerated character that covers 1 of 7 different characters. After this game you can then choose to build a new character with a game under your belt, applying the credit from the pregen to your new character. If I confused you sorry, let me know.
