Game Day at Your Mom's Basement (Sat., Nov. 23, 2013)

Our GM signup can be found here!

#4-24 Glories of the Past, Part II - The Price of Friendship (Tier 5-9):

GM: Ryan Blomquist

Players: Kitty, Tom, Eric, Eric's Mystery +1, Jolene, Jack

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–9.

The Pathfinder Society has discovered the hint of a monumental revelation, but in order to confirm their find, they must send a team of agents into the dangerous and unwelcoming orc-ruled Hold of Belkzen. While an expedition could easily be dispatched to the orc capital of Urgir, the Decemvirate urges caution to ensure success. Thus, a team of Pathfinders must seek out a guide in the Varisian orc city of Urglin. Can they navigate the treacherous city of denizens who wouldn't mind seeing them dead, or will the orcs' Second Home be the site of their final mission?

Written by Christina Stiles.

#4-19: The Night March of Kalkamedes (Tier 1-5):

GM: Erica L.

Players: Demonknight, Staci L., Chris S., Andy, Mark, [Jesse for Replay or OPEN]

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

A veteran Pathfinder exploring the Fenwall Mountains of Varisia has begun sleepwalking, traveling through the dead of night in the same direction each time. The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. It falls to a team of Pathfinders to escort the sleepwalker to his destination and uncover the true nature of the strange phenomenon overtaking Kalkamedes's dreams.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Your Mom's Basement is hosted by Ryan Blomquist (Venture-Captain).

Well I guess Alastor will have a preview of celestial tiger for Waking Rune. :-) But he'll be 2 levels higher by then.

Angelo Gaius Cassius Fierro owes a debt of thanks to the wizards he was adventuring with... and a debt to the suppliers of magical inks and spell books. He's now at 257 pages of spells... including almost 100 pages of spells he cannot even cast yet!

i hope he has a good indexing system! haha

it's not every day you see a Roc flying around with an elephant.

Mastadon! Faraday was a Mastadon! Although that tielfing lady sure got a little handsy when we were trying on dresses. But Faraday understands, it happened with her handmaidens too. There's just so many things to tuck in and squeeze in these fancy ladies' petticoats and dresses.

She was a tiefling living among orcs and we can't expect her to understand the rules of decency like the rest of us. At least the "Fashion show" didn't last all that long. Not like wandering the desert look for sharks.

If any of our attendees have the Arena flip-map, I would be infinitely appreciative if they brought it along. Just throwing that out there...

Damn. If only I has seen this this AM. Both you and Jon D could have used it.

Thanks again for GMing Ryan! It's not that Faraday is not wise, she's just been sheltered her whole life and is a tad bit (ok, a lot a bit) naive. Notice how she blushes and covers her eyes whenever there is a naked man around. How does she always end up in the scenarios with naked men?

Excellent! Had a great adventure, leveled up my fighter and it was good times all around.

I just realized that I was just in The Night March of Kalkamedes adventure last week. My limited knowledge of Pathfinder Society is that I can not play the adventure again. Ryan or Erica, are there any other options? I was looking forward to playing tonight.

    Thanks,
    Jesse

We might be able to add you to the high tier table, but unfortunately it *is* late to be changing the scenario or adding a third table. What is your character's level?

      November 23, 2013

    • Jesse

Best I have is a 3rd level, I am running late at another pathfinder event, so roll on with out me. Have a good time this evening.

      November 23, 2013

  • Sarah W.

I am going to have to bow out. The character I signed up for with this is stuck in a cave filled with kobolds, so I can't play her, and all my other characters are out of tier :)

    November 22, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

That just means it's time to make a new character! :-) Yay level 1! I realized that when I had 4 characters and the lowest one was level 5, I needed to make more characters. Now I have 3 new characters! Yay! And sadly, only 1 of them has a tiger. *sigh*

      November 22, 2013

    • Jolene

wait, what? did you say only one has a tiger? I am confused by this… Sarah make a new thing and test it on the table!!! We will miss you!!

      November 22, 2013

  • Jack B.

Erica, I have the maps printed for Night Walks. I can bring them for you, if you'd like

    November 22, 2013

  • Jolene

The fun that's going to be had at the table might be almost illegal. And if it's anything like the last part I hope max is bringing lamaro.

    November 21, 2013

    • Jack B.

      Is Lamaro a Rogue?

      November 22, 2013

    • Jolene

yes. He is. Or that's what he tells me. :)
