Event Description: Do you want to learn how to utilize a Privileged Access Workstation (PAW) that is joined to Azure Active Directory? This level-200 session provides a high-level overview of using an Azure AD-joined workstation to preform your administrative tasks in a secure manner by utilizing Autopilot, Intune, Conditional Access policies and other security controls. You will see how to utilize the PAW to address both cloud and on-premises scenarios that live up to the “One PAW to Rule Them All” title.
About the Speakers: Kathy Pedraza started her professional career as a graphic artist but soon moved over to the IT field after 9/11. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2019, she had a successful career as a System Administrator for multiple firms and agencies in Washington state, Texas, and New York. She is currently working as a Cybersecurity and Identity Engineer. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her children and three grandchildren (soon to be four!), creating jewelry art, and maintaining her garden. Kathy is one of the subject matter experts for the Privileged Access Workstation engagements at Microsoft.
Joseph Say is a native-born Texan and has worked in the IT field since 2001 – after a brief stint working as a biologist. He is an expert in the identity and security field. Prior to Joining Microsoft in 2015, he worked in the Texas Medical Center for over a decade and then in the Oil & Gas industry. In his spare time, Joseph enjoys the outdoors, photography, and sci-fi. Joseph is one of the subject matter experts for the Proactive Privileged Access Workstation delivery at Microsoft.
