Deisenhofen – Peretshofen – Baierbrunn Loop - Moderate Difficulty

Join us for a scenic and moderately challenging bike tour through the rolling hills south of Munich! This route offers quiet roads, beautiful views, and a mix of shaded forest paths and open countryside. 🌳🚴‍♀️

📍 Start & End Point:
Deisenhofen Bahnhof
10:30am. The S3 departing Marienplatz at 10:03 reaches Deisenhofen at 10:31 and we will aim to set off immediately.

⛰️ Elevation & Climbing Details:
This is a rolling route with several short but punchy climbs and gentle uphill drags:

• The first half of the ride has most of the elevation gain, with a steady climb out of Deisenhofen towards Dietramszell and Peretshofen.
• Expect a few long gradual inclines through forest and farmland, followed by short steeper pitches (~6–8%) near Lochham and Eurasburg.
• The climb before lunch in Peretshofen is the longest sustained effort (~2.5 km with 100 m gain), but nothing too extreme – just steady.
• After lunch, it’s a fun descent followed by rolling terrain through Baierbrunn.
• A final gentle uphill brings us back toward Deisenhofen, where we'll wind down the ride.

Pace will be social – no one gets left behind. We'll take short breaks at the top of longer climbs if needed.
🍽️ Lunch Stop:
At ~26 km in Peretshofen, we’ll enjoy a proper lunch in a quiet, rural setting. Please bring cash as card is not accepted
🥤 Refreshment Stop:
Short drink/snack break in Baierbrunn, around km 38.
🍻 Optional Final Drink:
After returning to our starting point in Deisenhofen, those who want can join us at the nearby Kugler Alm beer garden for a well-deserved drink under the chestnut trees.
