Welcome to the first in a series of events by the Naked Club that will be easier to attend for newbies and will also provided a more ongoing opportunity for established members to get their clothes-free fun fix.

On Sunday September 16, Rob Woodman will lead the group in an outdoor, relaxed exploration into your own free body. You will learn to be more present and comfortable in your own body. You will re-learn how to move your body following your naturally awakening energies. Some may call this "learning to dance" but if you're shy about dancing or think you cannot dance, do not worry. No ability is needed, just your own living body with a beating heart inside. We come in a variety of shapes and sizes of bodies and part of what we are working on is acceptance of others and acceptance of ourselves.

For those of you who will be experienceing the act of being naked in a social group for the first time, you will quickly discover how pleasant and natural it feels and how friendly and open people become.

We are meeting at Sequoians, a private nude recreation facility in Castro Valley, which is within the East Bay Area and easy to get to from the whole Bay Area. There is an admission fee at the gate ($20 single and $30 couple) and you are required to register there with photo ID. You must get on the attendee list in advance to be admitted. Naked Club does not charge any money for this event - we just want to give you the opportunity to get involved.

Day Schedule:

Arrive any time you want that day after 10 AM and enjoy the facilities but we will not be starting our event until 2 PM sharp. We suggest you aim for a 1 PM arrival so that you have time to sign in, get oriented, meet people and hang out a bit before we start. Come to the main lawn area next to the pool and hot-tub. At 2PM we will circle around and Rob will will guide you through some self-awareness exercises that will relax you and get your body moving. Think of it as meditation in movement. This part of the afternoon, including breaks, will probably not go past 4 PM. After that we will be back to free time. The property has some nude-safe nature trails and we will organize a group to go on a short easy hike. If you have never done it before, walking naked in the forest is an experience not to be missed!

There is basically NO photography by anyone including us. Historically all of our events have had continuous photography with multiple cameras through the day. This event is different. We will only want to take a few group photos at the end, but you do not have to be in these photos. Shooting will be announced beforehand, so you can move away if you don't want to be seen. There is the possibility that we will ask for volunteers to be in some photo-sets at the end of the day, to be shot in a contained setting, but there is no definite plan for that yet. By attending this event you are agreeing to the shooting and publishing of any photos you opt to participate in on this day.

Single Males:

You are permitted to attend this event but you are highly encouraged to try to convince a female friend to come to this event with you. Doing this could lead to the possibility of you and her being invited to some of our other events.

There is absolutely nothing sexual about this event nor clothes-free recreation generally. No sexual nor suggestive behavior is tolerated. Individuals reported to be sexually aggressive or behaving in some other inappropriate way will not be invited back. So far this has not happened at any of our events; let's keep a perfect record.

The Sequoians location and this event are nude-only (weather and personal hygiene permitting).

Do NOT bring: cameras, alcohol, drugs, firearms, pets.

DO bring: sunscreen, a towel, a hat, some snacks, water, a tote bag to put your clothes into, a great attitude, a big smile. You may also bring any acoustic musical instruments in case the opportunity for this comes up. Things like hoola hoops and colorful dancing scarves might be fun to bring.

How to Attend:

Please add yourself to the "attending" list on this site. Or you can email Nomad to let him know you want to come. We may have to limit numbers, so wait to get your approval. A list of names will be provided to the front gate. If you are not on the list you may not be admitted.
