Come to the 2017 Global Game Jam!

A Hack-a-thon for Game
No Experience necessary!

You can RSVP with Meetup, but you must register and get your free tickets at EventBrite for the Game Jam at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nashgamedev-hosts-global-game-jam-the-wondry-tickets-30794668683?aff=meetup

If you want to guarantee a free t-shirt, you must register by today (Tuesday Jan 10th) Otherwise there will be some extras but first come first served.

Each year, the global organization http://globalgamejam.org/ gives a keynote plus gives a theme for all 500+ worldwide sides. The theme gives ideas for how to create your game and what to include. People can find a team, or if they have an idea, they can put together a team. There is lots of collaboration, and lots of meeting new friends.

Friday, Jan 20

• 6:00pm - Doors open - Pizza
• 6:00pm - 7:00pm - Food, network
• 7:00pm - GGJ Keynote, local announcements, THEME ANNOUNCED!!!!
• 7:45pm - Volunteer to share ideas with the group.
• 8:15pm - 11:45pm - Network, form teams, get started!

Saturday, Jan 21

• 8:00am - Light Breakfast Provided
• 9:00am - Final team formation. If you haven’t found a team yet, ask for help.
• 9:00am - Jam
• 12:00pm - Game name should be done and team/game registered on the GGJ website.
• 12:00pm - 11:45pm - Keep on jamming!!!

Sunday, Jan 22

8:00am - Light Breakfast Provided
9:00am - Keep working & putting final touches on the game
3:00pm - GAME SHOULD BE DONE AND SUBMITTED TO GGJ SITE!!!!!!!
4:00pm - Presentations of all your hard work.
