Radnor Lake - Moderate, Weekday Hike 02/07

HIKE STATS:
Meeting Place and Time: Trailhead at West Parking Lot Visitor Center entrance if you are coming from Granny White Pike (at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:15 departure). If you choose to come from the Franklin Road side, you can join us at the East Parking Lot at 11:15 a.m.
Hike Distance: up to 5 miles
Estimated Hike Time: max 2 hours
Event Leader: Hassan

We'll start at the Granny White Pike entrance West parking lot, hike to Ganier Ridge and East Parking Lot for a quick break, then continue to South Cove Trail and back to West parking area. Pets are not allowed on the trails.
*This hike includes a couple of steep hills, please take into consideration.
Hike with us to the ridges (Ganier and South Cove) for an approximate 5 mile hike that is moderate to strenuous. Or branch off for a 2 1/2 mile loop around the lake.

Note that on good weather days Radnor parking can get crowded. Please allow plenty of travel time and observe all traffic flow and parking rules posted.

There is not a sign for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike or Franklin Road. Look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike or Franklin Road and turn there.

Tamesha, we would love more leaders to guide these types of hikes. Please let me know where and when you'd like to host these. Thanks!

I'm not from Nashville so I know I'm not a good candidate.... half this stuff I don't even know where it is. I literally gps everything and have been here a year.
