2.4 Mile Night Hike @ Edwin Warner Park (Blue Trail)

No time like the present to start a new habit! This is a great hike for newcomers to the group (not necessarily for Beginners). If you want to meet like-minded people, have been thinking about hiking more, or just don't want to hike alone, now is your chance!

HIKE STATS: It will be dark when we start the hike promptly at 6:35- so make sure you have your light! We will begin the trail at the Nature Center and follow the "Blue" trail for just under 2.4 miles, (not an exact length) and should take around 50 minutes to 1 hour at a moderate-fast pace of 3 miles per hour.  Most nights we go to the right- in case you try to catch up.

There is always the possibility that we will go out to eat afterwards, so bring a dry shirt.  *Two favorites are...

Sam's, Belle Meade

Brew House 100, Bellevue:

*FYI- This is a "hike" not a walk in the park; there are steep hills, roots, and rocks, so this may not be for everyone.

Please be sure to wear good shoes, as there may be mud and or slippery rocks in  some areas.

Also, bring a Head lamp or flashlight and plenty of water!

***Well Behaved Dogs Welcome, and MUST BE ON A LEASH-NO EXCEPTIONS!"

***If you can't make the hike then please be considerate of others and change your RSVP.

looks like we will be going to Pizza perfect tonight after the hike...

Located on Clofton Dr. off of Old Harding Pike next to the railroad tracks, there is plenty of parking directly in front of the building.

FYI- there is a big event going on downtown tonight, so there may be a lot of traffic.
