UPDATE: Made In The Shade-Deli...pdf (65.9 KB) VolunteerRelease+Waive...pdf (51.5 KB) Hi there, Thank you for signing up to Volunteer with MTPRC for our 3rd Annual “Made In The Shade”. Volunteers will go out in small groups with a Team Lead and deliver free supplies to neglected chained and penned dogs. The aim is to make the dogs more comfortable by creating shaded spaces and offering services such as free dog walking. Attached are the Instructions for the day. It is imperative that you review them and sign the Waiver. Please scan and send back to me or bring a Printed Copy on the day. We advise to dress in clothes that you don't mind getting muddy in-rain boots are a good choice. Remember to bring plenty of water and gloves as this is an outdoor active Volunteer day. Scissors, trash bags, paper towels, Greenworks and Phillips screwdrivers to assemble the dog beds we have purchased are needed too. We will provide Free Donuts and Sodas on the day and will have name badges for each of you These are the remaining supplies we are in most need of: Cedar Shavings Hay/Straw Dog Treats Spill Proof Water Bowls Wading Pools Tarps If you can bring any of these-it would be great. Event Details: Saturday July 13th at 11am Susan and Greg Hammond 2323 Dundee Lane, Nashville TN 37214 Meet up is in their backyard so please come through the Yard Gate. Our 3rd annual "Made In The Shade" event will be held on Saturday, July 13th from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Volunteers will deliver free supplies including tarps, dog houses, cedar shavings, water buckets, pools, and durable dog toys to neglected, chained, and penned dogs in and around Nashville. We will also create shaded spaces for these animals, and open a dialog with their owners in an effort to permanently improve the quality of life for these animals.
