Hey everyone! Let’s do a quick weekend trip to the Fiery Gizzard. Saturday, we will start the hike at the north trailhead and hike about 7.6 miles to the Little Cove campsites. Sunday, we will hike about 6 miles to finish the trail at the south trailhead.

Saturday morning we will need to shuttle some cars to the ending trailhead before starting the hike. I will communicate directly about the shuttle plans, but figure will need to meet at 9:30am for the shuttle.

This is a difficult hike for experienced backpackers. If I have not hiked with you before, please message me at 615 390 6083 to get off the waitlist.

Everyone should have a map and be able to navigate independently. There’s a free map of all TN State Parks on Avenza. The fee for the trip is $5 to reimbuse campsite fees.
