The Lisa Ross Parker Foundation is a charitable foundation founded in 2004 by Janet Ross, and operated by Janet and a small group of committed citizens, dedicated to the memory and charitable legacy of Lisa Ross Parker, whose life was taken at age 33 by leukemia. Although Lisa is no longer with us, her legacy of giving continues through the Lisa Ross Parker Foundation. The organization founded in 2004 with a mission that encompasses two things most dear to Lisa: 1) Providing support for families touched by cancer, and 2) Assisting animal welfare organizations.

**Recommended Event - All I can say about this exhibit is "Wow"? it's a great opportunity to see some great works of arts that you won't ever have the chance to see again. One of Rodin's original sculpulture "The Thinker" is just one of many pieces you will see. I would recommend using the free iPOD "headset" which gives you the background and history on each piece.

Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art will host the award-winning Highballs & Hydrangeas: art, gardens, music, and cocktails for the contemporary crowd on Friday, April 18th. Highballs & Hydrangeas are chic, Friday night cocktail flings for Nashville's young, hip, art-loving crowd, introducing them to a contemporary side of Cheekwood. Highballs & Hydrangeas recently won two awards for the innovative new event, launched in 2006. NFocus magazine readers voted it the "Best New Party of 2006" and the Tennessee Association of Museums gave it the Award of Excellence for a special event. It will be an indoor/outdoor, rain or shine event. Featured music will be the acclaimed San Rafael Band; there will be a cash bar with high-end cocktails and fabulous hors d'oeuvres.
