Phragmite Collection images have been posted to the site

We had a BEAUTIFUL day yesterday - an absolutely magical phragmite collection day. Heels and Wheels Auto Spa at 12002 S. Doty Road was a gracious host, allowing us use of their bathrooms. Interstate truckers shared coffee and conversation with us. We spent the second part of the afternoon meeting new friends in Pullman who know how to do slate shingles for roofs and facades with low tech hand tools (!!!) and are willing to teach us.

It all ended with a full moon!

Pictures of the thatch collection have been posted to the meetup site :)

Looking ahead to February's meeting, we will probably be indoors. Let me know if there is interest in mixing/applying natural plaster, or in viewing a film about natural building. We can do either one.

If anyone is engaged in a natural building project - please consider hosting an event. It was great working in another part of the city yesterday and we should do more of it.

Lastly, thanks a million to those who paid meetup dues (suggested $10 per year per family). Everyone is always welcome to come to everything regardless of ability to contribute financially, but all expenses (primarily the bi-annual fee for the meetup site) that aren't covered by meetup dues I pay out of pocket, so I really appreciate any annual contributions from those who can afford them.

Looking forward to seeing you soon-
