Special sunset walk!

Learn about classic movies filmed on Newport’s Back Bay while strolling the estuary. A costumed character leads the way with frequent stops to identify cinematic landmarks, architecture, plants, wildlife and other noteworthy features.

Guests are encouraged to dress up as characters from the featured films. Participate in a film trivia quiz for a chance to win a prize! If you wish, bring a picnic to enjoy at the Muth Center.

Our monthly Film Field Walk series takes film fans and nature nuts on easy to moderate tours of wild and scenic film locations throughout Orange County and beyond. With rugged coastline, peaceful wetlands, rolling foothills, deep canyons and snowy peaks, O.C. is the ideal natural setting for movie making magic! On the 1st Saturday of every month, this series will meander from the coast to the mountains. The next one is on November 7th.
