Orange County has been a popular film location since the Hollywood film industry began. With rugged coastline, peaceful wetlands, rolling foothills, deep canyons and snowy peaks, it is the ideal natural setting for movie making magic! Our monthly Film Field Walk series takes film fans and nature nuts on easy to moderate tours of wild and scenic film locations throughout Orange County and beyond. A costumed character leads the way with frequent stops to identify cinematic landmarks, architecture, plants, wildlife and other noteworthy features. Guests are encouraged to dress up as characters from the featured films. Participate in a film trivia quiz for a chance to win a prize! Bring a picnic meal to enjoy at Heisler Park, a cliffside park from which you can access several hidden beaches.
