(FYI ONLY) Rock Creek Park Ranger talk

Posted here for information only. Event hosted by Rock creek park.
From their website: The natural world and U.S. history are fundamentally intertwined in the creation of Rock Creek Park, the nation’s third oldest park unit after Yellowstone and Sequoia National Parks. Come learn how Washington, D.C.’s transformation and industrial changes in the broader United States shaped the development of this location. The talk has a specific focus on the work of Frederick Law Olmsted and his sons. Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. [masked]), in particular, leaves his imprint on the park, broader capital region, and even the creation of the National Park Service in 1916.
