URSULA STOCKDER - The 12 Labors of Hercules
Details
The 12 Labors of Hercules
Hercules is a very complex person who appears in the Iliad and the Odyssey, and who also has hymns dedicated to him. On the one hand he is a murderer, a slave and a madman, but beyond the borders of Indo - European traditions we find the motive of the repentant sinner and how both guilt and shame are motivators of behavior.
The 12 Labors of Hercules, related to each of the astrological signs, are the most important part of his mythology and are based on nature. Hercules shows us his strength and ingenuity to overcome these tests which were imposed by Hera. During this talk Ursula will explain the reason why he is called the Man of the Zodiac.
