NDev 47: Microservices: The Good and The Bad @ Mysa!
We are excited to host our next NDev event at Mysa's offices on Harvey Road on September 28!
In March 2020, Mysa was scheduled to host an NDev event, but something made us postpone, I can't remember what it was. Either way, we're excited to be back at Mysa in-person to chat tech with their team and the NDev faithful.
We now have our topic and speaker! Join long-time NDev all-star and Mysa Software Architect Moustafa Elsisy will be leading our discussion on Microservices: The Good and the Bad.
One of the most common characteristics of bad code and poor system design is having too much functionality in one place. Yet, a less understood characteristic of suboptimal systems is having functionality further apart from where it should be. In a world where the term "decoupled" can instantly shine a holy light on any design prospect, learning the middle way can make all the difference between a system that lasts for years, and one that packs them with headaches. Moustafa and Mysa's Architecture team will walk us walk through different approaches towards modelling systems, and how to achieve the right balance of system autonomy and integrity in your applications.
See you all there!
