Join us for the October 2019 Meetup on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 12:30 to 5:30 in Natick (this is the correct time, rather than what some of you may have received in an earlier email).
ATC THEMES: 1. Things with wings. 2. Artist's Choice (for everyone). We may have a special Halloween swap as well. Bring cards on that theme if you like; if we don't have enough, we'll add them into Artist's Choice.
ACTIVITY: Veronica will lead us in Neurotangle Drawing. She says: "This is a very simple drawing process -- no 'drawing ability' needed. The process is very relaxing. No expectations!"
Recommendations for what to bring: black gel pen, a sharp pencil, a black colored pencil, or any fine drawing tool (black color preferred).
Also, colored pencils, or crayons, or light-colored watercolors with a small brush or any similar coloring tool.
WHAT [OTHER] SUPPLIES SHOULD I BRING? There's a suggested list in "All About the NE ATC+ Meetup:" https://www.meetup.com/ne-mmm/messages/boards/thread/27212382 But even if you show up empty-handed, that's fine--we have loaner tools.
POTLUCK LUNCH: Please consider bringing something for our potluck lunch. Just remember that you must take, give away, or throw away any food you bring; we can't leave anything behind.
FREE STUFF/SALE ITEMS: You're welcome to bring items to sell or give away. The first person to bring items for sale or giveaway sets up the table. Be sure to take everything leftover home with you.
COST: $10, regardless of when you arrive or depart; it covers our costs for the day. Sorry, no partial payments or IOUs. Cash is preferred; small bills are greatly appreciated. You can break large bills or find an ATM in the town center nearby. Thank you for not paying with coins (we can't pay our venue or presenters in change). If payment is a hardship, please let the organizer know--we can work it out.
RSVPs: Please RSVP "yes" to attend; that way, we'll have an approximate headcount, and you'll receive all notifications about the Meetup! If your plans change, please change your RSVP to "no" at least 24 hours in advance so we'll know not to expect you. Anyone who cancels within 24 hours, regardless of the reason, may be asked to pay the fee anyway to help cover our costs for the day.
LAST-MINUTE UPDATES: Please check your email in box and the website before leaving for the Meetup. That way, in the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to bad weather or any other reason, you'll be sure to get the news.
