Who are your favorite artists, well-known or otherwise?

I've liked Joseph Cornell's work for years. His work is amazing. I like Robert Motherwell & Kurt Schwitters collages.

What other small-scale art projects (if any) appeal to you? Greeting cards, postcards, altered books, boxes, 4 x 4s...?

I've done some scrapbooking, 8 1/2x 81/2 & 6x6 albums. I make birthday cards just for a few family members. I've started 2 altered books, but the ATCs keep me from working on them. I recently heard of inchies, haven't tried them, yet. What are 4x4s?

Why ATCs? What's the attraction?

I've always liked making small, even tiny collages with bits & pieces of "recycled" paper so the size of ATCs really appeals to me. I've been making them now for several months. I especially like using stamped images and words. I find it addicting.

What's your motto or favorite saying?

I don't really have one.

What are your favorite places on earth?

I love staying home and working in my little craft space.

Hello. I'm looking for people who share my enjoyment of making ATCs and altered books.

What Carol is saying about this Meetup Group

I feel so lucky to have found this group of people. They are enthusiastic, caring, creative and just plain fun. I hadn't worked on art projects for many years so joining has been a real shot in the arm for me, a second chance to create and expand my ideas. Every month's themes brings new challenges. I'm always thinking of what to do and I love that. I can sit for hours moving my little pieces around on my ATCs and inchies. And I've had a chance to buy new stamps. Love those stamps. I've become an inchie addict too, thanks to Martha and Joan.
