Amplify.store

Hi,
Is the value stored in amplify.store accessible across different domains?

I am on www.site1.com and clicking a link on site1 will redirect the to www.site2.com. When user clicks on a particular link on site2, I am storing a value (key = xyz) in amplify.store and when user navigates back to site1, I am trying to access xyz which is not working. Since the value is stored in browser storage, shouldn't it be accessible on any url that is accessed on same browser session? Please advise.
