This will be another informal photography workshop available for free to the public. We'll cover the basics of using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (or just "Lightroom", or "Lr") to import and edit digital photos, and we'll also briefly jump into Adobe Photoshop (or just "Photoshop" or "Ps") to get a feel for how this popular application works. The hard stop is 7 PM, but feel free to leave whenever you've got what you've come for.
This workshop will focus primarily on Lightroom and basic editing techniques. I encourage anyone with a laptop to pre-install the free 30-day trial of both Lightroom and Photoshop from http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html. Both of these full-fledged professional grade programs are available as part of Adobe's Creative Cloud "Photography" package which costs $9.99 per month and can be purchased in yearly increments, or paused and restarted month-by-month. The $9.99 subscription provides the latest and greatest versions of those programs, so as updates are released you'll receive them immediately if desired. Compare this to years past when Photoshop alone was an initial $600+ product tied to additional upgrade costs when new editions were released.
