MIRCOSOFT HAS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING UPDATE REGARDING THEIR FACILITY POLICY:

Microsoft has been monitoring closely the developing coronavirus situation and is reviewing on an ongoing basis guidance provided by governmental agencies and international organizations. The health and safety of our customers, partners, suppliers and employees is our top priority, and our heartfelt concern and best wishes are with those who have been affected to date. As we continue to follow global health authority guidance, we are committed to supporting the international efforts to contain the outbreak and will take precautionary steps, as warranted.

In the light of the above, Microsoft Sales & Technology Center in Burlington has made the decision to temporarily close our conference center for external events at this time. We regret to inform you that we will need to cancel your event “New England Java User Group” scheduled on 3/12. We understand this news is disappointing, and appreciate your understanding with this difficult decision. We hope you will host future events with us at Microsoft New England.

We hope to reschedule the speaker, Reza Rahman, to deliver the planned topic, "So What’s Going On With Java EE?", but at the present time we have no "rain date" in place. Effectively, this is a straight cancellation and any future presentation by Reza will be considered independent of this not-happening meeting.
