What are you hoping to get from joining our group?

Ride when I get a chance and also see where others are riding and what is cool and places to visit. And connect with those who are about "riding" and not "posing". I'll post a pic when I get to a better computer, but I have lots on face book.

Describe your bike:

Main ride 2007 Suzuki VStrom DL 1000 Bobber 1982 CB 900 "Snarles" Cafe' 1977 Kz 650B "Pumpkin" a few others too....

Do you have any special skills or services that you would like to offer to the group?

I am a rider, farmer and winery owner. We are a Ridin' On Magazine "Dice Run" stop. We sponsor two rides a year. One for Breast Cancer, the second was just last weekend focused on Vintage Bikes and benefited a local Air Guard unit shipping out to the Sand Box. We offer a buy one get one half off dinner special for bikes, coupon in Ridin' On magazine. We are a cool place to visit especially for "two-ups". We are right on the edge of the "Twisites" of Ohio. I ride a lot near Lisbon, Dellroy, Salienville, New Rumley and points South. We post our ride routes on "Come Ride with Us OHIO" on Facebook. I am also a Ohio Patriot Guard Rider, only bike group I have ever joined, very rewarding to stand for those who have stood for us.

What type of rides are you interested in? Casual Rides, Organized Events (poker runs), Destination Rides (siteseeing), Challenging Rides (long hauls)

When I have time I go as far as I can. I recently put together a "Geo-Pic" ride where riders had to plug in GPS coordinates drive to them and use a clue to figure out where to take a pic with their bike. I like to shag ass down 77 to the line then pick my way home on whatever back road catches my attention, paved or gravel/dirt. I might ride 4-6 hrs. without getting out of the saddle, only stopping to re-fuel but not get off my bike.

Please place yourself in one of these experience categories: Novice, Moderate, Long time rider, "Biker"

Long time rider (1970's-present)always looking to learn more. Last winter I purchasaed "Ride like Pro V" and have been working on getting so I can competitively ride the police motor officer course. I am down to doing 18' figure 8's and less on my DL1000! Most fun I've ever had going that slow! I usually don't group ride, but have learned to mellow in my "old age".

Greetings from Bill. The best bike is the one that makes you smile! I am part owner and family member at Maize Valley Farm Market and Winery in Hartville, Ohio.
