Chicago NetSquared Monthly Meetup

We'll be talking about data, data practices, and databases, one of the most challenging parts of nonprofit tech. We'll start by taking a quick overview of what folks in the room are doing to track data (paper records, spreadsheets, and more modern options). Then we'll move into a discussion on CiviCRM, an open source database platform that is geared specifically to the nonprofit sector, and take a look at a couple of implementations for specific kinds of data tracking. Organizers: Kara Carrell is a Board Member for
ProjectVIDA/ProjectLIFE, and as a Social Media Enthusiast, she moderates the
501 Tech Club of Chicago. Dave Chakrabarti is founding a startup! builds
