This month we'll be featuring the Center for American Progress and their popular progressive blog, Faiz Shakir will be looking to the NetSquared DC community for ideas on how to redesign the blog and improve the user experience. Come share your insights and learn from some of the best New Media and nonprofit professionals in DC.

"Pimp my Nonprofit" is our regular bi-monthly brainstorm session. Through this case-study oriented conversation, everyone will have a chance to contribute their thoughts and learn vicariously from some of the leading technology and communications experts in DC. Thus we encourage any consultants and geeks in the audience to show up and strut your stuff.

Faiz Shakir is the Research Director for The Progress Report and at the Center for American Progress. Faiz holds a B.A. in government from Harvard University and a J.D. from the Georgetown Law Center. Faiz has previously worked as a Research Associate for the Democratic National Committee, a Legislative Aide to Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL) on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, and a Communications Aide in the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. His writings have appeared in The Jerusalem Post, Florida Today, and Salon. Faiz has appeared on BBC Television and ABC News Now, among other places, and has been a guest on many radio stations, including NPR and BBC Radio.

A more organized set of questions by the presenter would have guided the discussion much better.
